btw. 93rd and 94th, west side - looking east
Work crews have now started to fill in the trenches and holes that they dug on the west side of 2nd Avenue.
92nd, near the SW corner - looking NE
In this image the hole has been filled in and crews are packing down the fill material.

92nd, near the NW corner - looking SE
But some holes are still open as crews from ConEd, Verizon and the DEP continue their work relocating utility lines.

94th Street, SW corner - looking east
94th, SW corner - looking North
On the west side of 2nd Avenue, on 92nd, 93rd, and 94th, the roadway has been reduced to one narrow lane, so that crews can excavate as much as possible, without closing the street. In this picture you see the temporary crosswalk at 94th and 2nd.

(It's unclear why there are balloons next to the "sidewalk closed" sign...)
